Job Responsibilities:

Teaching Visual Arts:

Conduct visual arts education sessions for pre-nursery, nursery, transition, and early primary classes, fostering creativity and artistic expression in young students.

Planning and Executing Lesson Plans:
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that encourage artistic learning, utilizing age-appropriate techniques and materials.

Designing and Implementing Artistic Activities:
Organize and lead artistic and cultural activities at the institutional level, cultivating an appreciation for art and encouraging active participation among students.

Development of Artistic Skills:
Foster and enhance early artistic skills by exploring drawing, painting, modeling techniques, and other forms of visual expression tailored to different age groups.

Curricular Integration:
Collaborate with fellow educators to seamlessly integrate visual arts across the curriculum, enhancing the overall educational experience of students.

Parental Communication:
Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on students' artistic progress and development.

Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bilingual Visual Arts Teacher in preschool and/or first-grade settings

2 - BILINGUAL MUSIC TEACHER - GRADES 1 TO 4

Colegio Jordán de Sajonia is seeking a Bilingual Music Teacher for grades 1 to 4, dedicated to fostering artistic and cultural development in our students.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Music
Master's degree in Music or Master's in Musical Arts

English Proficiency: B2 - C1

Key Responsibilities:

Music Teaching: Deliver music classes, fostering musical appreciation, basic instrumental skills, and theoretical understanding of music for students in grades 1 to 4.

Planning and Execution of Musical Activities: Design and conduct innovative musical activities, including concerts, presentations, and rehearsals, to nurture students' musical talent and creativity.

Integration of Musical Technology: Incorporate technological tools and resources to facilitate interactive and educational experiences in music learning.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects that enhance students' educational journey.

Assessment and Feedback: Holistically evaluate students' progress in music, providing constructive feedback and additional support to enhance their musical abilities.

Required Experience:

2 years of experience as a Bilingual Music Teacher in elementary education (students aged 6 to 10).

3 - THEATER TEACHER

Colegio Jordán de Sajonia is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Theater Teacher.

Professional Background:

Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Theater Studies, or related disciplines.
Bilingual proficiency.

English Proficiency: B2 - C1

Responsibilities:

- Teach Theater classes in English to students from grades 5 to 9, employing innovative teaching methods and techniques that foster creativity and personal development.
- Develop a comprehensive curriculum for the Theater subject, encompassing theoretical foundations and practical stagecraft, including teaching acting techniques, improvisation, and body expression.
- Organize and direct theatrical productions involving students to promote performance skills and a deeper understanding of dramatic art.
- Integrate technological tools and multimedia resources into the Theater teaching process, enriching the educational experience.
- Collaborate with other teachers to design interdisciplinary projects that incorporate Theater as a cross-curricular educational tool.
- Assess students' progress in their theatrical skills and provide constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Maintain open communication with parents, providing regular updates on their children's performance and achievements in Theater.

Required Experience:

-Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Theater or related fields.
-Fluency in English and experience teaching Theater to secondary school students are required.
